Traffic problems?

I first want to say that I enjoy your radio station very much and you are a huge part of my week. However, I do have one problem that I have encountered recently with your afternoon traffic reporting. Often times in the past few months on my way home from work I hear from WMUB Metro Traffic that the "Dayton Area is all clear", when in reality I have found myself at that very moment sitting in traffic on either I-75 or I-675. I do understand that bringing together a quick, concise report for two large metro areas has to be a challenge, but it would be nice to not hear such statements when staring at another car's bumper. Additionally, if you could extend the traffic reports into the 6 to 7pm hour that would be great as well. In this day and age it is not uncommon for employees to work well past 5 pm and to get accurate traffic information is very important for those like me who travel 30+ miles to and from work each day., Again, this is a minor complaint and does not affect the overall good job you do Thanks and keep up the fine work.

Thanks for the intelligent coverage!

I went to the Kerry rally in Dayton yesterday, and was very annoyed this morning when the Dayton Daily News did not even mention Kerry's important statements regarding health care, his tuition tax credit, and his war policy. , , I expected better from the New York Times, but their article was just as superficial, if not worse-- , , WMUB's Tana Weingartner, however, reported on exactly these issues, clearly realizing what were the significant elements of Kerry's speech, and not cluttering up the airwaves with trivialities., , So, good for you, WMUB and Tana! Thanks for the intelligent coverage!
